There's only one language besides english in CTDS.. and that's French, and while the english script uses Crono, the French uses Chrono.

that's why you can name the characters up to 6 letters

Too bad there wasn't a spanish translation too. Not that I would really need it, but as a way to get my brother to play the game. He would probably do if he could understand english.

What does it say when you try?

When you try to hit Confirm you just hear an error sound and it won't leave the screen until you change it to something else and Confirm.

Chrono and Crono aren't possible for Serge. CHRONO is possible. There may be more, but I don't have the patience to try it all out. Anyway, some names aren't possible.
