The [[Blackbird]] is, aside from the [[Ocean Palace]], the ultimate creation of the Guru of Reason, [[Belthasar]], a pinnacle achievement of Zeal that symbolized its advanced culture and people. It was named the Blackbird as when in flight, it appeared to be a giant bird; propelled by jets, it featured several interior corridors for storage or personnel use, at least one hangar for smaller airborne craft to dock in, a complex ventiliation system, and armaments in the form of turrets emplaced on conveyers on either wing. In the [[Lavos Timeline]], the Blackbird is believed to have been destroyed in the [[Fall of Zeal]], while in future epochs it was commandeered by Dalton and flown away from the destroyed continents. It was later used as an aerial headquarters after Dalton claimed authority over the people of [[Last Village]], and served as a prison for the captured party. The [[Epoch]] was outfitted with wings within one of its hangars. It later was destroyed when a misfire of the Epoch's laser weapons sheared off its port wing, and it seemingly crashed in the sea.
