Mitsuda recounted: [During "Courage and Pride"] "Music data is stored in a format called MML (a notation format used for old cell phone ringtones), but adding dynamics increases the file size. However, I wanted to value the dynamics of Chrono Trigger's music, so I always tried to make the music data as small as possible.
