Title: Month That Could Have been Chapter 2
Post by: Agent 12 on May 31, 2009, 05:29:31 am: Sheesh that was a much longer chapter than I thought. Enjoy Chapter 2, a bunch of it is exploring the 1002 overworld, hopefully the commentary keeps you interested.

A. The game was near completion (for any of those tinfoil hat folks still left over)

B. The 98% beta is FAR more complete than the leaked alpha

You should keep that to yourself. The dev team is not exactly happy that their work got leaked without their consent.

Well, besides that, thanks for the videos and keep up the good work!! (I just can't wait for the final episode to be released... and for a news story that has a compilation of ALL the links :) !!)

Hey guys, by the end of it all, can you give us some statistics of viewership and users joined to the compendium and stuff? It'd be interesting, because stuff like this can really unite a fanbase ;) .

EDIT 2--
I was just wondering, was first battle with Dalton Plus unbeatable? (Magus in NewGame+ was getting 100HP dmgs, and I'm like whhhaatt?) Awesome cutscenes and commentary btw !!

I'd like to make a new post for each video hoping people leave comments that are actually ....you know about the videos. A bunch of work went into the game and it's nice to actually see peoples reactions to each chapter. What they liked/didn't like. If we put all of these in one post it'll quickly become unmanagable. Z should be back so he can make the final decision.

I know that the youtube comments are kind of what I want but...well first and foremost I'd like to see what compendium member think.

The game just appears a way too professional. Those mini games in Choras make it more like an official release (there are too many rom hacks that only do some re-scripting and re-arrangement jobs ).

Yeah, it's probably best that each update is kept separately so that people can comment on the specific scenes or commentary w/o the thread becoming gargantuan like JP said...

I almost feel bad for the people that started to play the "leak" thinking they had something even close to complete. :lol:

Aye, that'd make watching these in succession a little more seamless.

Anyhow, brilliant stuff guys. Most of this seems familiar from the demo, but the commentary really helps liven the experience.

Those videos bring me old memories playing this game when I was a child... and, oh well, just a couple months ago with the DS port :). I'd be fantastic could play CE, as much of the members in the site must think, I guess.

Man, just took a peak at commentary Agent 12 and Chrono'99 have written for some of the future videos, and the developer commentary really does make a huge difference. If anyone's turning the commentary off for their first round of viewing, definitely watch again and turn it back on. It really livens up the viewing experience.
