Retranslation of Chrono Trigger / JP $06F400 Location Names

The "guardian" of the translation is "kanshisha" which yes, is the regular noun "guardian," rather than the katakana "GARUDIA" which denotes the kingdom.
I don't know what "BIMANA" means, other than a two-handed primate, which doesn't make any sense - it also appears to be a palanquin (litter on which an important person sits carried by four men) in India. It is a foreign (katakana - proper noun usually) word, not Japanese.

Ok so all these are done now. Some I was surprised at... (Pari Pore?) And that the Undersea Palace is also called Bimana... Whatever!

Zeality, can you not get a better scan than that? I can tell you what the first four characters are, but the last two, though I can make out most of it, are unclear enough in the exact radical that I would need a better picture.
But anyway, the first four are:
異常 持続
i jou ji zoku
'ijou' means abnormal, like 'abnormally hot weather/big snowfall' etc
'jizoku' essentially means durable.
I don't know enough about the mechanics of Chrono Cross to tell you what stat that is though.

You're right, I totally scanned over that without realizing it was a "no" instead of "wo" (and "bi" instead of "bu"). Thanks. I think Woolsey picked a good verb, "beckon," so I'll stick with that.

Yeah, you're right, they're definitely using 'hoshi' to mean the planet that they're on, not just the planets in space.
I guess I usually use 'chikyuu' or 'sekai' or whatever, in my conversations, but I guess that has the connotation of being literally Earth, i.e. the one we're on. Saying 'kono hoshi' does give it kind of a fantasy planet feel... which is what they must have been going for.

If a Japanese person read that, they would say "hoshi no yume no owari ni," 'hoshi' meaning, essentially, blips in the sky, a.k.a. stars, or distant planets.
But, I see your point. Having it be the "Planet's" dream would certainly make more sense in the context of the game. And yes, that kanji "SEI" is applied to the suffix of elemental kanji (water, ocean, heaven, earth, gold, fire) to make the names of the planets. So, I have no problem making it the "Planet's dream," although when you talk about a "planet" in japanese, you say "waku-sei" (two kanji). I think we should check Robo's conversation about the "Entity/Planet" for final confirmation.

Here's another easy one... might as well get it done. I guess I'll have to actually play the Japanese version, but does the Black Omen (aka Black Dream) get its own age? Or does that refer to 2300 AD, and the "Near Future" to 1999 AD? Oh well.

So you see, all things, not just magic, depend on the balance of these four [powers].
Starting from the door, circle this room along the wall clockwise three times while thinking 'I wanna use magic!'"
I noticed there were some questions about the usage of "tena guai ni." This is a colloquial phrase (kind of kanto-ben) often used when you have finished explaining something to someone. It is often written in roumaji as "tte na guai ni." So if you've just explained to someone how to hit a tennis ball, you may end by saying "tte na guai ni sou surun desu." My personal translation in this case was "so you see," but any similar phrase would do.
Also, naritatteru is "naritatsu," consisting of "to become" and "to stand." It just basically means something consists of something or depends/hinges on something.
