I was reading alot of the theory and conjecture, and I remember at one point, it was agreed by popular vote that the Chrono Team, which includes Lucca, Marle, Magus, Glenn, Ayla, and Robo, cannot cross dimensions from the original timeline (Another world) into the dimensional timeline in which the future is still ruined (Home World).  And yet, as several have pointed out, Kato told us himself that the Prometheus Circuit is Robo

Don't you see the glaring inconsistency with the assumption that ppl in the "Another World" dimension before 1010 can't cross into "Home World?"  If that were true, Robo would not have been able to work with Belthesar and become the Prometheus Circuit.  It could be argued that some version of "Prometheus," what Robo was before he became Robo, but we have agreed to take what Kato says as fact.  For the Prometheus Circuit to be Robo, as Kato says, the Chrono Team must have full ability to cross between dimensions.

This naturally gives more credence some obvious solutions to certain Home World characters' resemblance to Chrono Team characters.  Magil is obviously Magus, and Miguel (with his ludicrous power and Luminaire attack) is obviously Crono.  Would not the simplest theory be that FATE rewrote their memories in the Home World dimension?

Or at least it tried.  Magil still somewhat acts like Magus, and Miquel is fully aware of who the Ghost Children are, even his own ghost.  No amount of memory insurrection could ever explain to the Chrono Team members why they are so damned powerful.

It seems to me that Miguel did spend some of his life searching out his lost memories to explain why he is so powerful, yet unnaturally inclined not to be a hero like he used to be.  Let's assume Belthesar still has some role for them to play.  What would he have Miguel do?  It seems he would have Miguel be in just the right place, time, and inclination to bring Serge to the Chronopolis so that Serge becomes the Arbiter of the Frozen Flame.

We can hash that all out later.  But with "Miguel" and "Magil" being more concerned with their own mysterious past and being afraid to use power to change the world, that still leaves the mystery of what the original Chrono Team has been up to.

I do not remember reading/hearing any reason why FATE has access to a dimension where the Reptites won out over the humans.  It seems to me that could only happen if Lavos was prevented from landing on the planet at all.  That would require an exhaustive.."pre-emptive" effort to stop Lavos in space.  I'm sure we can come up with a lot of fascinating conjecture as to how they would do this, and how this may connect to the fact that there is a second moon in Home World.  Could that second moon merely be a space station set up by Belthesar?  could it be this satellite that was the instrument to creatte the Lithosphere Atmosphere Reports?

With that all said, I'll point out that I did, in fact, provide positive advice and did compliment two specific drawings/artists.

Check out what I mean by spicing up some faded scanned sketches.  When I submit a picture to imageshack.us, I add all the code they give me to a .ini file I use to index it all. Yes, .ini.  I use the freeware Notepadd++, and when it views/edits an .ini, it creates nice folding/opening notes everytime you enter [...] and hit enter. Anyhow, here's the codes to the autofixed kid25ey.

[Kidd fanart portrait excellent]

See the difference?  I bet this is more like (if no better than) what the drawing looked like before it went into the scanner.  So you see, I really do think some of the fanart there is great. :P

Hi! I just joined the forum but seconds or a minute ago.  I look forward to making positive contributions to the site.

But first, this fanart update caught my eye. So I checked out all the fanart.

Damnit.  Why do you all have this obsession with Lynx?  And some of your fanart SUCKS!  I've been a fanart collector for some time, and you know what?  There are good rules for submitting fan art.

1) If you can take the time to draw a picture you plan on submitting to a site, do not do it inside a ledger or spiral pad of some kind!  Your notebook and the desk you took a picture of -- yeah, those are pictures *of* pictures, lame-asses -- are not helpful in capturing what you are trying to convey.  Tear that fucker out of the notebook.

2) Fuck stick-figures and speech-bubbles.

3) A picture of real people in their costumes is not fanart. Period.

4) Custom sprites, though fanciful, are also not fanart.

5) You know that when you scan a picture you drew by hand, it looks horribly faded.  Take the time and use some image editing software freeware and fix the color saturation and brightness/tint of your drawing.

6)  If you submit a photo of genuine artwork -- such as the new wire frame Chrono -- please, PLEASE use a suitable background.  My methods for doctoring up the fanwork in my collection  was able to reveal some good shadow and context, but it's not nearly as nice as it could have been if you had just submitted it against a black background with good overhead and foreground lighting.  Easy to do.

Seriously, this HP Presario 6000 w/ XP home came with "Microsoft Picture It! Express 7.0", and all I have to do is auto-fix the brightness then contrast then tint, and alot of these sketches suddenly look marvelous.  Even black/white ones.  You'd be surprised how far it can go.  I also like to use Picasa 2, Gimp, and sometimes the "sharpen" effect that came with the adobe photoshop editor freeware that came with the reader 7.x update.  I can really do marvelous shit with your drawings guys.

In any case, some of the fanart here is pretty good.  For example, DarkSerge.jpg.  Very nuanced expression with the eyes. Good job. And Kid25ey.  Very strong personality.  Excellent. And when I autofixed the color saturation/brightness/contrast/tint, it really came out looking nice.

That picture Irenes-miki small.jpg. -- Ok, I get it. You like lesbians.  Nice job detaling the contour cleavage of the thighs vs. groins.  Ugh.  Don't submit your masturbation material.

Some of you do try to add realistic contour and curves to characters' bodies.  However, I can tell some of you can too hung up on the breasts.  For example, Kidd_Long_Sketch_by_OhioErieCanalGirl.jpg (most of her work, even).  Does anybody here remember the optical illusion where you see a diagonal being interrupted by a square/rectangle, you try to guess which line is the real continuance of that first diagonal coming from the other side of the box?  This illusion applies to when you are drawing the contour of a body part (such as a breast) , and you must draw the contour 'continuing' from their undershirt to their coat/vest/whatever.  If clothing is not skin-tight, i.e., it hangs on you like most clothes does, then contour lines are not continuous at the borders.
