So long as the game is excellent, it doesn't matter who works on the next Chrono game. What does matter is that that game developers have a passion for what they're doing. If Yuuji Horii doesn't care about Chrono series, I don't think we want him working on it.

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Re: Ayla

How closely related were humans of Ayla's time in comparison to Crono's? Are her people the unevolved "monkeys" mentioned in Chrono Cross?

It was mentioned earlier about possible laziness concerning the size of Garai's model and Radius' (though it looked like he had more hair to me). It could possibly something they overlooked.
But your post has pretty much convinced me otherwise.

As if Miguel's dominant hand really means anything. Furthermore, it's highly likely that the artists would pay such close attention to hand dominance, considering some art discrepancies in the game, as was mentioned previously in the thread.
I don't think Miguel's Crono, but he does look similar, and it is an interesting theory. I would bet his character was influenced by Crono, sort of like Guile (perhaps Miguel was being proposed to be Crono, but then they scrapped the idea, or decided not to elaborate on it).

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Re: Is there possibly a relation between Starky and Nu?
« on: August 15, 2006, 02:41:14 pm »
There's nothing wrong with that. After all, this is speculation, as the original poster said, and he should be treated with kindness.
Regardless, what's interesting is a possible connection with the Nu, the Big Bang, and the origins/end of life/universe. And Starky. Also, similarities in character design and speech are very relevant in literature and other art forms.

Nonsense, that's a good post. Speculation is fun, and your observation has merit, as there are some similarities. Alas, it seems that not everyone on this site is friendly.
Furthermore, besides the artistic similarities, your observation on what Starky says before you fight the Devourer of Time IS like what is said of the Nu in CT. Since the Big Bang is beginning of time, and time begins and ends with Nu, perhaps there is some connection there. If you figure in the artistic *similarities* between Nu and Starky, you have something interesting to ponder.
Please feel free to speculate your more, as you're cool.
