The smart people that do study have to live their life with the same job doing the same thing over and over till they die. They work in high school so they can work harder in college, and then work harder and longer in a job.
As far as stupid people, the most prominent stupid people tend to get themselves noticed because they think they aren't stupid. Then, of course, there are smart people who make stupid decisions, like not studying enough or something of that nature. You can almost see the regret in their eyes in later years, contemplating the exact moment (or perhaps a long, reversible series of events) that they fucked up and made their life an unlivable shithole, because they know that they're never going to be anything more than they are right now.

No he wasn't...they tried too hard to try and make him mysterious while completely forgetting the fact that even mysterious people need to be, like, developed somewhat and stuff...I agree that Freya kicked butt...but they could have delved further into her...by the end of the game I still felt like I had hardly heard a word from her besides her lil quote about how being forgotten is worse than death...Amarant was kinda developed....He was like a bounty hunter and wanted to fight people stronger than him...Plus in Treno there was that optional scene where Amarant and Freya delved into their pasts.

Can someone tell me why everybody seems to love FF7 and Trigger so much? Also why does everyone think their soundtracks were great? I hated the Trigger music but thought Cross' music was the best in any game. And I'm not trying to cause controversy, I'm just wondering. Is it beacuse I didn't play those games right when they came out? Do they just seem old and outdated to people that only played them lately?

SquareEnix is more concentrated on Final Fantasy cuz it makes the most money of course. So in the company's mind Chrono Cross didn't make anywhere as near as much as FF so even if they make another sequel it still won't make as much money as just concentrating on a new FF would. The thing about a donation would be that they are "forced" to use the money to make a new Chrono and so they get money from the sales plus the extra 5 million from the donation. It's kinda like a win-win.
I don't think you understand the purpose of the Gates Foundation. Games are less important than medical research, and there is a whole industry supporting them anyway. Using charity money to make video games would be wastefull.It would be wasteful but then again it's not like ALL of Gates' money is going to go to charity purposes. The Gates Foundation was just an example basically cuz he has the most money and 20mil would be nothing to them. And then I was thinking getting the Foundation to donate is using starpower too. Like now George Clooney is demanding the UN to do more for Darfur. And sure a new game isn't anything political. But word of Chrono could be spread on the news and media and then SquareEnix could maybe think that they could make even more money off it.........And yes, sure this all seems kinda stupid....
