Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Re: Is this the place to discuss ROM/CT Retranslation problems?

Thanks for your recommendation Tiamat, but I decided to try mixmasta's idea first, and that worked! What an ingenious idea! Why didn't I think of that?
Thanks a lot guys!

If not, please direct me to the correct forum.
If so, please help if you can. I am playing the retranslation, and when I get all 5 chests on the Blackbird and try to go out to the left wing to fight Golem Boss (or whatever it's called in the retranslation), the game freezes. I go up the ladder from the inside, the screen turns black, and nothing happens. I've tried restarting ZSNES as well as loading form my last save from the memory, but it always happens. I can still load state and rewind. But I can't get beyond that point without a game freeze. Any way to fix it or get around it with codes?

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Re: The Chrono Trigger Soundtrack Battle

I don't think I like the way this is set up very much, because the ones who post later can give more points to their favorite songs that a lacking a bit and ignore their favorite songs that already have a ton of points. Why not just set up a bracket and have a vote? Also, why bother with the short track,s like goodnight and the short Fanfares and Mystery of the Past? I wouldn't mind starting this whole thing over, but if in a couple of days you have not decided to do a bracket, then I will post my points.

Gameplay wise, you're right, it's not really a biggie, but in terms of what the characters had to go through storywise, it was a great deal. Also, Crono didn't see Zeal fall, cuz he was already dead. That was prolly the most significant of all.

Yeah, I just figured she was sputtering on about the Blackbird escape, the Epoch getting wings, going to the End of Time to get the Time Egg, getting Crono's clone, then venturing up to Death Peak to get him back. That's actually a lot to go through after C-Money eats it.

Thanks for your help, people. I think I've found everything, now it's just a matter of beating the Black Omen 3 times and Charming the heck out of everything. Then, New Game + and do it all again! Yay!
BTW I think I set my own personal record for high levels first time through. Magus is level 65 on the low end, and Crono is level 71 on the high end. ^_^

Yeah, I did Fiona's forest first, now I'm on Mt. Woe, so tomorrow I'll prolly get to the point where I can resurrect Crono and get started on the sidequests.

Pyt fumv, thanks for your input. I think I'll do it in that order (except maybe Fiona's Forest).
Cyber, telling me it's up to me doesn't really help me at all, LOL! But thanks for noting Fiona's Forest can be done sooner.
Anyone else care to take a crack at it?

Q: What is the best order to complete these sidequests in? Please take into account enemy difficulty, plot, and rewards. Please briefly explain why you chose the order you did.
Crono's Resurrection
Fiona's Forest
Ozzie's Fort
Geno Dome
Sun Stone
Cyrus' Ghost
Rainbow Shell
anything else I forgot
Thanks!
