Submissions / Just some fanart I made ...
« on: October 15, 2008, 08:29:34 pm »
So this is my second submittion to the Compendium. I had this one posted in deviantart since last month, but it doesn't feel good if it's not seen by Chrono fans. This is my view of Crono and Marle's future if Chrono Cross had not existed... I hope you like it

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Re: Chrono Merchandise

I completely understand your pain... And living in South America makes it worse, since videogames and RPGs are not very popular and there aren't almost any videogames stores (at least where I live)... And I can't even buy at eBay because they don't ship to Chile!... the fangirl inside me is also screaming for Chrono stuff... that's why lately I started drawing my own CT posters... Maybe now that CT is coming to NDS you are going to be able to find something ...

I can't believe I missed that! We need links! LINKS! And I don't mean the Zelda ones either.
Here are the links of
Robo Theme

I couldn't find frog's theme, if anyone finds it please, post the link

I heard it like two weeks ago looking for CT remixes on Youtube, and now I have it on my psp and cellphone, so I can listen it wherever I go
Is there a Frog Theme with lyrics? why haven't I listened it yet? hahaha I'm going to look for it right now!!!
By the way, has anyone heard Chrono Corridors with lyrics? there are lots of them on Youtube , and some are pretty good.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Re: Chrono Trigger- Your first impression BONUS WORLD REVOLUTION REMIX
« on: September 03, 2008, 01:21:47 am »
First time I played the game, I might had been like 7 or 8 years old, my big bother brought a CD with lots of roms and while I was looking for a good game I reached CT. The first thing I thought "Hey! That's a strange name! I wanna play it!" It was like love at first sight... I don't know what I did like about it, since by that time I didn't understand a word in English... Maybe I just loved the characters(by that time I had not seen DB so it's not because of that) I remember that the first time I played it i thought "I can't understand Crono's hair ".
Anyway when I was in seventh grade I started playing the game again and it was the same as before, but know I was able to understand everything... and love it way more than before
And now when I think of it... I played a game that has literally changed my life(and I say it seriously) just because of what I thought it was a weird name...
By the way, that World Revolution Remix was awesome!!!

Okay, my University has been on strike for more than a month now and with so much time to spare I decided to finish this. Do you remember that V-Jump illustration that was posted on February 01? Well, I spend all last week drawing it, so here it is with no more Japanese letters I would love to hear your opinions about it
PD: I forgot to draw Frog's pouch and the leather thing (I can't remember the name even in Spanish) that hangs from Marle's crossbow. Also it's my first time using oil pastels (for the background) so I don't know if it's good enough....
Well I really hope you enjoy it

When the anime came out in 2003 I was also very surprised and thought it was going to be pretty bad...and it actually was pretty good. I got the first seven volumes of manga, and if you compare it to the anime, the manga is awesome, I really recommend it.

cupn00dles, the southern part of Chile is nice, specially near the mountains, but I live in the coast, very close the Atacama Desert, so if you like the combination of desert and sea, please come to Antofagasta too!

Hi!! I'm Javiera , a huge Chrono Trigger fangirl from Chile!!! I'm 19 years old now and I've been playing videogames for almost 17 years now... but even if I've played countless games I've never found not even one game that could give the feeling that CT gave me. even though i know it's said to be one of the greatest games ever made(of course, for me it's the greatest among greatest) i never knew that it was so popular because the RPG genre in Chile is not very popular (few people can read English and they don't translate games for Latin America) that's why I'm happy i found the compendim, it's like the first time i will be able to discuss Chrono stuff
oh and i played CC too but i got pissed off with what they did to Crono, Marle and Lucca... but even with that, it was a good game
oh i just got inspired and wrote too much ^^u, sorry if my English is not very good, but in Chile, English classes are not the best...
