Good that you realize that. You can't take my opinion as anything more than a guy who doesn't like his sexy French lady being turned into an unfair bad guy. Makes me feel bad for liking her.

Doesn't really help us understand what in God's name happened to her.
There's really not much left to understand. Either she merged and was killed by Serge (incredibly lame), ran off like a Frenchman (even lamer, but she's still alive), or she appeared somewhere after the game ends.
Of course, all speculation. I'll just stick with my ideas about her, unless you have some interesting input?

Yup, you got it on the money.
As much as this could be non-canon, I can also argue that Harle never needed to join with them in the first place because she was their construct, not their whole. Even before she existed they were supposedly one, so why must they absorb her?

For some reason I don't really like that idea.
It's entirely plausible, has basis in certain facts (such as how she was created for manipulation), but I much prefer a different fate for her. Personal preference.
Anyways, Faust, it was actually the Total War ending where the demi-humans met with the Dragon-God and the Dwarves. The part I refer to is where it cuts to when the humans are driven out, and Harle is seen walking around in Arhni (costume and all) before she goes to Serge's grave to place a flower.

Sup guys, how's it going?
After finishing the game and going on a ridiculous information binge, I've been left with a question that everyone seems confused about: the topic title.
What happened to Harle? Did she die when you defeated the Time Devourer? One of the endings (for sure) and NewGame+ (or so I heard) state otherwise, with the Dragon God appearing alongside Harle--not as two in one--and with you able to recruit her with the Dragon God roaming around.
One is non-canon, and the other may also be, so I'm still left wondering what happened to Harle? Did she really become a part of the Dragon's Final Form(tm) or what? I think (because Harle is so very, very French) that she simply fled.
A serious discussion would be nice.
