Even though Rick Santorum made our country look pretty evil. :picardno
If it makes you feel better, some of my friends and I went around my school posting pictures in the hall that said "Rick Santorum in his alone time" with him having a nutria thing on his head... XD

I joined yesterday and I just noticed this topic, so Hello everyone!

Hah, awesome. 8)

Insomnia, I hate that so much, not being able to sleep. Also a chronic lack of money, it's all very frustrating to me. Sometimes my life just plain and simple sucks and I hate struggling and hanging on at times.

Depressive post is....depressive I guess? :P

Yeah well I don't have that amount of money to spend, heh. And even if I had, it'd probably not worth it to me, even though I'm a big Chrono Trigger fan. :?

Welcome back, Teenage Mutant... um... Cat!

Never knew ya. But here's hoping I do! Plus, having someone from Netherlands is rad! 8)

I like Teenage Mutant Cat! TMC is just a shortening of another nickname I use on many forums but that name was too long for this one. It stands for The Midnight Crazies.

Basic facts about me: 29 yrs old, female, living in The Netherlands, old skool (j)rpg fan, avid reader. That about sums it up. 8)

Oh and I love the numoticons, I hope that fact isn't too obvious. :D

Chrono News / Re: Square Enix registers "Chrono Bind" domain

It's most likely this: http://playstationlifestyle.net/2012/02/27/relax-chrono-bind-is-not-chrono-trigger-3-or-chrono-break/

That explanation sounds the most logical to me.

Hmm let me think, I like The White Ship, The Cats of Ulthar, Nyarlathotep, The Music of Erich Zann, The Whisperer in Darkness and most of all The Colour Out of Space, I find its atmosphere very haunting (in a good way). There are more stories but those are the first that come up in my head, when I fight Lavos in CT I always think of Lovecraft. :)

I hate arguments. Especially with my gf...and the worst thing...I can't try to fix things as she's in Costa Rica now, argh.

Chrono Trigger DS Analysis / Re: Best Party?

Crono, Robo and Ayla is the team I like most. The game becomes broken with Robo's ultimate weapon (found in the Vortex) combined with Dragon's Tear (obtained in The Lost Sanctum)...

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Re: Is Magus really all that cool?
« on: February 06, 2010, 11:38:06 am »
Magus has the most interesting backstory, definitely, so that makes him cool. I can see the "overrated" comment though. He's in my team when strong magic is needed but still I prefer my Crono, Ayla and Robo team, for me they kick ass best.

Quote from:  HP Lovecraft
Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon

Just today (or, rather, in the past day), I have read three stories that turned my tummy:

1. Rush Limbaugh has been selected as a Miss America judge and things the women's movement is great when he's walking behind it.

2. A teenager in Turkey was buried alive after talking to some unrelated boys.

3. Many female veterans, once they get out of the military, end up in a life of homelessness, prostitution and sexual abuse, substance abuse, and mental illness.

And to top it all off, an assault on a friend has left me feeling upset indeed.

Aww sounds like a bad day, indeed, can't stand Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck for that matter. D: I'm sorry, did your friend (or you) at least kick the guy who did this in the nuts?
