I posted the following comment on GameFAQs, which got removed by a moderator who then banned me:

You know what? You're right. This is totally stupid. I'm using my alt account for this (buu700) as proof of the validity of my admission.
Yes, I faked the C&D. Hey, it worked out well, didn't it? We got a ton of publicity, an article on MTV, and cult status. That's a win if I've ever seen one.
Obviously, yeah, I'm also buu700. Couldn't leak the game as myself, could I?
The Flames of Eternity crew are good guys, but their vision for Crimson Echoes is flawed; I can't just let them take credit for my work like that.
I will be issuing a public apology on the Chrono Compendium website tomorrow morning. I now realise how foolish and uncalled for it was to be so dishonest with my fans.
