Site Updates / NP strongly suggests Chrono Trigger Revolution download
« on: August 31, 2005, 06:19:59 pm »
This is how Nintendo is celebrating Chrono Trigger's 10th, I guess.

It's like giving a car to a 16 year old!

Wow, three Connecticut people? I've been on much larger forums and I'm usually the only one!

Oh well, I'll only be here for another year before I go off to college elsewhere.

Time, Space, and Dimensions / A bit confused

But my second question about the Entity's past vs. the group's past is unanswered. And this brings up another question. If all of these timelines are being sent to the DBT, do all of them belong to a single Entity? Crono and Co. are writing new history for new timelines all over the place... is each new timeline automatically connected with the Entity?

Unless I'm mistaken, the current theory is that the Entity exists outside of time, so it's the same guy/thing/cat/whatever in each timeline.

It was good, though.

No kidding. You wouldn't happen to know someone named Matt Cruea, would you? He's the same age as you (maybe +/- a year), lives in the same town and is a CT fan.

Anyway, I'm 17/M/West Hartford, CT

The first one takes place on Mars and you have to collect your ship's parts. The second and third take place on the alien mothership, if I remember correctly.

Commander Keen.

So there IS someone else out there who has played Keen! My definite favs are Keen 4 and Keen Dreams. Keen was one of the best games ever! Go side-scroller shooters!

My favorites are Keen 1 and Keen 4.

All of the games are good, though. Well, the classic PC games that is. None of that Gameboy crap.

It could always be the work of the Entity.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Difficulty Levels
« on: August 26, 2005, 10:29:08 pm »
I just started playing Chrono Cross today. So far, I'm not enjoying it nearly as much as Chrono Trigger or Radical Dreamers. If only they left the battle system untouched...

I'm not very far into CC though, I just got to the guard who throws rocks at you while trying to get into the Viper Mansion.

I used Crono, Frog, and Marle to beat Lavos because their my three favorite characters.

As other people have said, they make a pretty good party. Crono and Frog have some pretty good double-techs and Marle is an excellent healer.

It was either Super Mario Bros. or Commander Keen.

It's definitely fake, as it is "Chrono Brake" in Japan.

Uh guys...

It's rather obvious that Crono was on a LSD trip.

Crimson Echoes / Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes Feedback Thread

I just finished it. Great job! My only compliant is the clipping, but that's already been mentioned.

All that I'd like to say is that there is an easier way to apply the patch, and works in any operating system. All that you have to do is put your smc and ips file in a zip, and then have zsnes load the zip. Snes9x might also have this feature, but I haven't used that in awhile, so I'm not sure.
