Fanfiction projects, because they are the easiest.

Chrono Trigger DS Analysis / Magus in the DBT is Magus from the Lavos Timeline
« on: July 03, 2017, 06:29:51 pm »
This may seem obvious to some, but just announcing this.
After the party interrupted Magus's summoning spell, the timeline where he did summon Lavos was abolished, but existed in some form in the Darkness Beyond Time. Perhaps in the Darkness Beyond Time, that old part of the timeline was "summed up" in the Magus from the Lavos timeline.
It is interesting to note that the rippling water effect that appears when you enter the bucket gate also appears here. In Chrono Cross, the same water effect happens when you fight the Time Devourer. Maybe the Dream Devourer escaped its prison through the gate you use to enter its prison and fight it. Of course, the resurrected fragment of Lavos just enters another prison.

The Great To-Do List / Resurrect dead projects

Some projects probably would be easy to breathe life back into- mass fanfiction projects for example (ZEAL). I have considered completing Prelude to a Dream, but I am beginning Genesis of Time.
The ROM hacks would be harder than the fanfiction projects and RPGmaker projects, so be warned and venture into these with knowledge of the scale of these projects and possibly a team for faster completion.

The Great To-Do List / Save disappearing files on the site

Someone (It doesn't need to be just one person) should create a Google account and drive, or use some other online storage, to back up files on the site that I have noticed have been disappearing.

Welcome / Birthday / Seeya! Forum / Hello.
« on: July 03, 2017, 02:20:30 pm »
Hello. I registered to the forums a year or so ago but I forgot my username and password. Also I wanted to have a fresh start.
I am starting on a ROM hack of Chrono Trigger called Genesis of Time. I don't want to release it to the public because a C&D from Square-Enix has me scared straight on those grounds, but I'll see what I can do. I need help getting started with Temporal Flux (especially adding a character, adding/renaming an area, and creating monsters) but other than those big three I am learning quickly. I hope to show just a bit of the hack to the public, at least.

Kajar Laboratories / CT:Genesis of Time plot
« on: July 03, 2017, 11:39:51 am »
No spoilers, as this is just a primer. Don't worry, it will leave you on a cliffhanger so you have to play the game.
THE PLOT (outline)
Backstory between Chrono Trigger, Cross, and Genesis of Time
The reason Chrono Cross was nothing like Chrono Trigger was because it was a computer simulation by a mad scientist named Edward Covelwell in 2302 AD. The creatures were left to develop their own civilization on a randomly generated series of islands called El Nido. Somehow, this computer was able to detect some events that actually happened in the world and integrate them into the simulation.
The party gets back together, uses the Cross simulation as help to alter the Dream Devourer, and discovers a greater evil.

Chrono Trigger Modification / Temporal Flux help- adding a character
« on: July 02, 2017, 12:19:14 pm »
Hello all, I have been on the forum before, but lost my account name and password and created this account.
Anyway, I have been tinkering around with Temporal Flux. I'm still a newbie at it, but I am learning quickly how to use TF. There are many tutorials on the Web. However, none tell me how to add a character.
If you know how, please tell me as fast as you can. I am making a new Chrono Trigger game (a fake sequel, in other words) that I will post to my Google Drive as a downloadable file
