History, Locations, and Artifacts / From the CC FAQ - El Nido

The Green Ambler is commonly considered a guy in a costume.
Really? I've never heard that. I thought when the NPC references the 'guy in a costume' he meant the armor suited mystic type.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Here's today's crackpot theroy from GameFAQs.

I have a question!
What is the planet's motivation for doing this? And since when could 'the planet' do the time travel thing? I always thought it was Lavos, the flame, or balthasar and his tech.

Chronopolis is sent back in time to 7600 B.C. because it was hurled 10,000 years into the past, the Planet sends Dinopolis back from another dimension (Reptite's Dimension, where the Reptites killed off the humans and shit)

Characters, Plot, and Themes / A theory about both Glenns of the Chrono world.

I always thought (and still do) that CC's Glenn is just Square's way of showing: "See, there IS a Chrono Connection!" so they could keep you intrested. I mean, you see a green haired knight called Glenn, what would you think of first? That's what: "OMG! IS THAT FROG?!"
Agreed! Just as the promotional screenshots showed a OMG IS THAT GUARDIA CASTLE (the Viper Manor's moonlit walk across the brdge) OMG IS THAT 65 MILLION BC (Gaia's Navel, complete with lil' Ayla) OMG IS THAT 2300 AD (the Dead Sea) and OMG IS THAT BALTHASAR (yep )

History, Locations, and Artifacts / From the CC FAQ - El Nido

I searched about to find a thread on this, to see if my question's been answered of my idea's been addressed. I only found a little blurb on it in the CC FAQ, and since it's such an old, unnoticed thread, I thought it appropriate to start a discussion!
Really? I always thought it was in Chorus Bay. o_O;;;
I mean, the Giant's Claw is the ruins of the Tyrano Lair, which exists near/in the Chorus Bay in 600 ad. But by 1000 ad, the Claw has submerged underwater. In El Nido, the Sky Dragon Isle (I think it was sky) is actually the ruins of the Terra Tower. Aren't the Tyrano Lair and Terra Tower the same thing? If they are, that would put El Nido in Chorus Bay. I mean, on the 65 mill BC overworld map, the Tyrano Lair looks pretty damn advanced. The first time I saw it, I thought it was something out of 2300 ad or something. And it could account for why the Reptites are much more advanced than the humans of the era. I dunno, just throwin ideas out.
Also, we know that even though the Reptites were 'said' to go extinct, some did survive. There's that runner in the Fair, and he must have family, or at least parents. When CC's Terra Tower appeared in 7600 bc (which is kind of odd, really... there's no reason for it to work that way! ) what would those dragonians have said to the world's reptites? Or perhaps dragonians and reptites look almost identical anyway, just as humans and proto humans look very similar. So there's another question, is the Fair runner a surviving reptite or a dragonian? And would the Reptite remnants and their isolated/submerged Giant's Claw have teamed up with the Dragonians and their Terra Tower?
There's more than likely some small CC quotation that nix's my idea, but I'm just typing as I think. I find it's the best way to organize new ideas.

Where is El Nido?
No one knows for sure; it's a small set of islands perhaps off the coast of Porre.

There is in game evidence that there is an infinite respawn law that rules the Hunting Grounds. When it rains, enemies respawn. Try it out. It goes on forever. Its programmed that way. You can't win this little arguement...
There is also in game evidence that if you drink sweet water, all of your wounds are healed.
That the prehistoric peoples could construct guns and robotic parts, which were more advanced than the weapons from the future.
That if you touched a treasure chest, warped to another period, and then opened it, the contents will have changed.
Game mechanics.

Except thwe whole thing where she worked with Lucca.
Is there anybody who says this other than Luccia? Again, all a part of the conspiracy.

Lavos, the Planet, and other Entities / Salvation rains from the heavens!
« on: December 15, 2005, 01:21:04 am »
So we know that the frozen flame, among other things, can heal a person fully. It's very powerful and can do a lot of amazing things. It's also a lavos scale/needle/whatever he's got on his shell that broke off upon atmospheric entry. So when Lavos attacks Zeal/1999 AD, he's essentially throwing a bunch of Frozen Flames at them. And since the Frozen Flame is still around and powerful in 1020 AD, it can last a long time - over 65 million years.
So I got to thinking... why aren't the people of 2300 AD USING all of these Frozen Flames lying around of the planet's surface to help themselves?

A thought, though...I wonder if Lucca saw that Guardia had fallen when she went to get Doan? I mean, surely...
Two possibilities comes from this...
One, Lucca is hiding something for some reason. Considering we don't know much about what happened after CT (save for the flaming orphanage incident and Kid, and even then a lot of that is second hand) this could present a whole new story.
Two, there was another time traveller that influenced Porre's military descision, hence making two MORE dimensions - The one Lucca visited on her trip to get Doan, where Guardia was still around and influential, and one where it wasn't. Again, a whole new story.
Quote from: Chrono'99
It's crazy but I say that because Lucca used to trade machines with Porre (there's a receipt in the orphanage) and the Porrean girl Luccia is her friend. So the situation was probably more complicated than just kind Guardia vs. evil Porre.
Of course, Luccia could BE Lucca. The similarities are there, and the age would be right. Lucca is doing undercover work in Porre in an attempt at revenge.
