Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Does Chrono Cross Ruin Chrono Trigger?? (SPoilers of course)

yeah i know, but that the biggest argument on every Chrono board is their fate, i wish it would have been confirmed. To me its just a slap in the face.Well maybe Square-Enix was leaving a little to imagination. Think about it, if everything was explained and clear, then you woudn't be posting on this forum and talking about the myteries to begin with.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Does Chrono Cross Ruin Chrono Trigger?? (SPoilers of course)

Well I have to agree on some things that have been said, but nontheless, Chrono Cross on its own was a very good game IMO. You need to see it for what it is, not what it was expected to be. Sure its a Chrono game, but if it was meant to go alot deeper into the fate and plot of CT, they would have named it Chrono Trigger 2.Yeah I totally agree. Chrono Cross is a very excellent game on its own merits, such as the innovative stamina based battle system, element system, and IMO the very deep and complex story, who some don't seem to like for the fact they don't comprehend it the first play through or the CT fanboys that dislike the story because Crono, Magus, etc weren't in the game. Saying CC ruined Trigger just because of personal preference is kinda lame. Enjoy the game for what it was, not because you coudn't understand the story or recruit Crono and Magus.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Item Usage
« on: December 28, 2005, 03:46:07 am »
I like the challenge of not using items. I don't mid hording them though, just to impress a friend when he checks out you have 1 of every Weapon, Armor, etc. in the game. Im a big completionist when it comes to rpgs.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Dark Blade?
« on: December 28, 2005, 03:42:42 am »
Im pretty sure there isn't anyway to aquire them without a game enhancer or emulation. You might be thinking of Demon Edge or Demon Hit. Anyway the darkblade isn't much stronger than the Lode Sword I think. Neither is the Pico Magnum for Lucca. The Greadeus is useful for some tougher enemies but since it doesnt work on bosses its really not useful until near endgame.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Most Embarassing Moment in Chrono Gaming...
« on: December 28, 2005, 03:36:57 am »
Hmm embarrasing moments eh? Ahh calling Chrono Trigger a failed attempt at a decent game and then actually playing it and becoming a very big fan of it. Now I own the original cartridge, Chrono Cross, rom of Radical Dreamers, and tons of CT and CC stuff.

I think the means to actually aquire these weapons were taken out, but they still do exist in memory. You can actually get them with a game enhancer or emulator. none of them really have any special abilities except for the Graedeus, i think it halfs HP of the enemy but not bosses.
