The very first Compendium Chronology

I've hit an online time of over 365 days, so I've been browsing the Compendium for almost a sixth of my life since joining the Compendium. Admittedly, I've been putting off this milestone by staying logged off most of the time. Several of my posts recently were composed while logged off. I was hoping to log this at exactly 365 days, but my online time seems to have suddenly jumped from 364 days, 11 hours, and 58 minutes, to several minutes past 365 days while I was browsing.

Late Edit: Wait, it must have been 364 days, 23 hours, and 58 minutes before. I made this mistake before, confusing 11 hours with the time just before midnight, and therefore just before the new day mark.

365 days, that's impressive. Today marks my third year since registering, and I've only logged in 11 days!

Hmm, it seems for some reason people don't get their posts counted sometimes.

For example BlueInnateErik's profile shows 0 post, but he actually has at least 1 post here.

And for that reason he doesn't have a rank icon.

utunnels, some areas on the forum aren't included in the post counts. The roleplay section, for example. Hmm, I remember in the past, that members with 0 posts, whether from not posting or all posts being in non-counting forums, were under the CC Reserve Corps (rank icon: KO'd modern castle guard). But now, among the newer members listed, there are only a few CC Reserve Corps here and there, and a bunch of no-rank-at-all members.

Edit: Looks like a lot (but not all) of those no-rank members have websites listed in their profiles. The advertising kind.

Yeah, his only post has been in the SoY thread, and those posts aren't counted.

Maybe the posts that aren't counted are on the threads that you have to log in to see? That would explain SoY and the RP sections.

Or perhaps because these boards tend to have tons of posts. You gain rank points quickly by posting in your own thread.

I'm pretty sure utunnels was right. It was designed as a way to avoid post count inflation.

I'm fairly sure a good chunk of Compendiumites would have 500+ more posts if they counted the SoY and RP threads.

I remember how back when RP posts did went for the post count, pretty much was what rammed my average-per-day to like, 21:1 or so at it's peak.
