calm down, dudey. I never said that it's a 4 dimensional representation of a cube, the developers just named it after one.

This obviously has SOME signifigance, because I dont think the developers just chose the name because it sounded cool.

If that Tesseract thing in CT is right, that brings some weird things to light...Because in the NA release of CC, the Tesseract was renamed the DBT...

Also...

3rd dimensional movement allows for flight, as humans can now use vessals to travel along the Z axis.

People can also jump

People also travel through the 4th dimension, although limited to the same pace and no changes in direction. We're time traveling all the time! Into the future through the present! 8)

Which is part of the reason I think us trying to make a time machine is idiotic. We're already travelling through time. ^^'

Well, its kind of like jumping/flying.  We're already jumping up and down the z-axis, but we want to go HIGHER up the z-axis, and be able to control it more.

the whole "fourth dimension" thing is really fascinating. You should look up things liek Moebius Strips, Kleiner's Bottle, and Tesseracts.

These are all conceptual models of 4 dimentional space.

I've seen some interesting models.  Anything from a cone, to something that looks like an hourglass, to one of those infinite loops.  (Take a strip of paper, twist it, tape it together.  You can trace all sides of it without picking it off the paper.)

Yes, science has a way of captivating. However, let's return to the matter at hand.

The Tesseract of CT is a waste-bucket of things deleted through time-travel. It's not a fourth dimension of sorts (Because it's not time itself). The fourth dimension is what you go through when you enter gates. Tesseract was a bad choice of words, so it was changed in the NA release of Chrono Cross to:

Darkness of Time, Darkness in the End of Time (Worst name, yes?), Darkness Beyond Time, The far end of the dimensionel void...

But Tesseract is no where to be seen in CC...
