Sprite Rippers' Thread (Old Thread) [LOCKED]

Lordchander: Hmmm, I thought I should leave this due to some of the screens here. You never know, we may need them. Use this only for getting and refrencing the screens.

Anyone who is ripping sprites can post them here.  Don't be surprised if I edit your post to keep things nice and neatly organized. :)

Is there any preferred method of arranging the sprite sheets? We should probably go by whatever the flash designers think will be easiest to use.

Just try to keep different frames of the same animation together...  Maybe arrange them alphabetically by character?  I'm not sure.  Anyway, I'll get Nathan here fairly soon though. :)

For the opening scene, I need the following graphics ripped:

    Crono's Room with window closed
    Crono's Room with window open[/list:u]

Also, check out this resource for TONS of sprites.  We'll still need to rip a few movement sprites for PCs though.  Marle doesn't have a side-walking sprite or any of her running sprites, etc.

Should the room rips be just screenshots? And if so, is that without any filters?

If by filters you mean Layer 3 (the light coming in through the window), I want Layer 3 visible.

So yes, it mainly needs to be just PNG maps out of Temporal Flux or something along those lines. :)

Unfortunately I do not have unlimited web space, but these should stay up for a week or two: (EDIT BY JAKE: Now they're on my server, so they'll be up awhile longer!)

Next?

Looks good...  Next, how about Lucca's House (only her main room will be shown this episode, but you can grab them all if you want) and the Millennial Fair screens.

Also, a brief note: The Millennial Fair North and Millennial Fair South screens actually overlap by 1 tile, so you can merge them seamlessly.  I think it'd be great if we did that.

I don't have unlimited webspace, but I can host whatever pictures we're going to be using on photobucket... and then, if i'm running out of space (only holds 100 files), I can upload them onto imageshack (which you can upload as much as you want since there're no accounts, but we'll need to keep a list of the URLs of them cuz, unlike photobucket, you can't find the images again if you don't have the URLS >_<)

I guess I'll put these on photobucket for now (btw, for future reference, if you need to find any of the screens I upload, my photobucket account is ShadowDrago)

EDIT: Now that I think about it, screens this size may be a problem... Unless we're planning to have the flash only about this size... If we need them bigger and do use these instead of getting bigger pictures (like a screen from a full screened emulator) they'll have to be edited in photoshop or something else other than flash, cuz flash's resizing thing sucks..

Oh yeah, and about the filter thing before I was talking about the ZSNES filter things (like the things that make it smoother)

Ah...then yes, we probably want the filter.

When it goes full-screen on ZSNES it looks just fine, so I'm not worried about the screensize.

I DO have unlimited webspace, so all I need is for you to host them temporarily until I can get them on my server.  (I'm at work right now, so I can't access it at the moment.)  So you'll be able to delete those by tomorrow. :)

EDIT: They're up now.

2ND EDIT: Millennial Fair ripped and merged.  Here it is:

3RD EDIT: Lucca's Workshop ripped.

OK, we need a CUSTOM SCENE of the outside of Lucca's house. :?  Now, my thought for this is to rip one of them 3D-looking houses from Super Mario RPG, and merge it into the CT-graphics grass and land...  It also needs a horizon, because the camera will pan up above the horizon.  Behind that horizon will be a parallax background, a screenshot from CT:Resurrection showing the Millennial Fair.  Anyone up to doing this?  Questions on it?

Oh, FUN...  Let's hope you don't lose all your stuff. >_<  I could NEVER stand living in Florida, with the hurricane stuff every year.  Geez...

Anyway.  We need the Lucca's house exterior.  Who's volunteering?
