This is an offshoot of the recent poll. What tutorials do you want, exactly? What problems are you facing?

Planning on making some Zeality? :D

I mostly want a general beginner's tutorial that will cover the basics. Right now, there isn't much for newbies. Some other things I'd want to see:

- Injecting new sprites into games
- Location editing tutorials
- An extensive guide to events and commands

A guide to events and commands would be great.  A guide to everything in the menus of TF would be great.  TF is great and fairly user friendly, but a lot of us have no knowledge about the "coding" behind it and aren't completely sure what it all means.  Tutorials would be great but I think we need some more explanation on what we are manipulating (Probably just me).

I'm not really a big time TF user.  I have only between 2 and 3 hours of use.  I do think I would understand a little better if I could spend more time with it, but it gets frusterating and I always end up screwing something up.  Perhaps, something to bridge the gap better would be useful?  I do love the idea of making my own games or subsections of Chrono Trigger with it.

As a side note, I'm learning how to use Visual Basic .NET and I think I could compile all the information we know about TF and its properties into a little learning/information program.  I don't really know if it would be more useful than just coming here and looking it up, but I thought I might try.

I understand there are limitations to magic/tech editing, but would it be possible to edit the *power* of these skills (the multipliers used)?

I'd do it manually, but I can't find the addresses these values are hidden at.

I'd prefer an extended manual that explains the use of EVERY command.

If you haven't already, grab the offsets guide on the modifications page.  The eventcommands.txt has info on the majority of them.

Okay, they seem to be up again, now.

Alas, I can't find what I was looking for in those files, but there are some goodies in there I can use, for sure.
