Yes V, I understand what you are trying to say, but Remakes just milk the game. If they made a 3D CT, or a GBA/DS/PSP Remake, awesome, but other then that...

It was a semi-serious joke, fxar99...

Remakes aren't just for "milking the game". It's about 1) updating the old. This is because the old version was limited by the day's current technology. The remake can give it a look (and perhaps a feel) closer to what the creators had in mind. and 2) exposing to a newer audience. Some people a) didn't play the older version, b) couldn't play the older version (lack of translations, lack of older system, etc), or c) won't play the older version due to graphics or w/e. But I guess that depends on your definition of "milking"...

The best example of an un-milked remake is currently, of couse, Final Fantasy III DS. (And it's a FF paradoxically)
