Questions about the Frozen Flame

The general consensus is that it was. Thats how it was connected to Lavos and where the energy of Lavos came from. After Zeal it was lost till Chronopolis.

Though originally it was discovered, probably by Larubans (though we can't test this), and helped evolution along.

The Mammon Machine was constructed out of dreamstone.  Nothing ties the Frozen Flame with Zeal or any other location except the Sea of Eden.  All we know is the Frozen Flame influenced the evolution of primitive humans and was later discovered on the ocean floor in the Sea of Eden in 2300 AD.

Well, OK...  That makes sense; it's a part of Lavos, so it behaves like Lavos, and grants its user powers, as the Mammon Machine did Zeal, right?  So when Schala is absorbed, she can communicate through it, yes?

I'll have to continue the Schala geneology debate elsewhere, though.

Gray, Radical Dreamers informs us that the Frozen Flame was inside the Mammon Machine, and that perfectly makes sence. No one but Schala could activate the machine, because she is the arbiter! How RD describes their connection proves that she is pretty much the first arbiter ever.

As for Marle's pendant, in the original timeline, Schala also used up that energy somehow and then it was lost when she died, or if she truely reincarnated herself in her own timeline, then that is the case of why it didn't go down with her.

The Frozen Flame in Radical Dreamers and Chrono Cross are nothing alike.  Radical Dreamers takes place in an alternate dimension which is not related to the events of Chrono Cross, unless you mean to suggest that Serge was a traveling musician or Guile was actually Magus.

The Mammon Machine was made from Dreamstone, which bears no resemblance to FF in Chrono Cross.  There is also the fact that the MM was sent into the DBT with Schala.

Noo. I'm saying that even though the machine is of dreamstone, there is a possibity that the flame was inside it. It was almost sentient you know.

Also, the Radical Dreamers and Chrono Cross Flame are very similiar. Graphics limited it. In Radical Dreamers, the flame was described to look like "A flame frozen in time". Modifications to the look of it were obviousally done, but the obvious history of what happened didn't. Zeal still fell, just this time, Schala was pittied by the flame and was reincarnated.
RD and CT share the same past, but it splits of in the future.
