Zeal and El Nido; Are they related?

I just read through the Chrono Cross FAQ, and it said "El Nido is an archipelago, or a series of Islands. Zeal was also an archipelago."

When I read that last sentence, something clicked in my head. Zeal fell into the sea, right?

What if... El Nido is actually the remnants of a once sunken Zeal?

I'm assuming you either didn't play (/play through) or pay attention to Chrono Cross? They explain what El Nido is...and it isn't Zeal.

Argh.... Yeah, you see I DID play through Cross.. when I was about 10 years old. I tried playing through it again and thanks to taking shitty care of the disc my game froze and the body switch scene.

Yar, if you want you can always read the Compendium's script...the info on El Nido's origins would be around the Chronopolis area stuff, I believe...*hint hint*
