Radical Dreamers quick question

I recently completed Radical Dreamers with scenario#1. That's the first text based game I've ever played, probably the best . . . sort of like those "choose your own adventure books" long before I was born, but I read em.

Anywho, if any of this could be clarrified, or if you could refer me to another thread? it be cool

NO i am not here to discuss the origins of Magus/Magis/Guile or anything like that, I amwell aware that Guile is that washed up dude that arrived in Termina in 1000ad, supposedly a doppelganger of Janus from the dimensional gate

So I did some reading up on the backgrounds of RD and CC, yet some things are still confusing. RD was basically another "dimension aside CT and CC, before of after the time crash, idk yet, but supposedly the RD world ceased to exist when the Chrono Cross was used, along with all the "alternate" characters . . . these being some kind of doppelgangers??

Can those items be confirmed, as well as Kid knowing stuff about her past and of RD? is it because she is still a "clone" of Schala with the astral amulet in her possesion? And is it the same Kid from RD in CC?

Holy God. Whoa whoa whoa, slow down.

First off...where the hell did you get that idea for Guile???

Second, who said ALL alternate dimensions went away after the CC was used? All Schala said in relation to that was that these two particular dimensions, Home and Another, would be sealed back together. That's it.

Third, Kid IS Schala in RD.

but wat i mean by the seperate dimensions, for example in RD, at the end of CC when the Chrono Cross itself is used, it causes all of the dimensions and preceeding alternate parallel worlds to unify back into one continuous flow


in Chronopolis it states as they touch the white plate that there exists dimensions outside their own that they visit

the time plate Serge touches is reciting the words from an alternate dimension, as Kid calls forth Serge and that guy Magil to fight Lynx

this dimension is the setting of which RD transpired in . . . maybe a paradox overall?

so i am guessing that RD never happened and it occurred in its own world and when the Chrono Cross undid the damage that Lavos had intentionally sourced of the Time Crash, i believe all dimensions including the RD one ceased to ever exist as they were erased from the timeline and ingrained back into one single domain

i already knew Kid was Schala, but i was wondering if that Kid from RD was the Kid in CC since she can transcend space and time with the astral amulet

she also said that the famous "we'll meet again" line at the end of the correct ending in RD

if i am wrong though, please tell me because i not only would i like to hear both sides of the stories and feeback, but the truth to gain more knowledge of the Chronoverse

That FAQ is bogus. The entire theory hinges on a cutscene that doesn't exist and violates the internal time logic of the series.

RD is another dimension; Cross borrows a lot from it early on, so they seem uniform for a while. The only real suggestion that it existed in some form is Kid's reaction to the hologram (hey, it's me old mates). Whether this is just part of the easter egg is uncertain.
