Possible to beat Ayla?
« on: April 13, 2006, 03:43:50 am »
When you first meet Ayla in 65,000,000 BC, she runs ahead of you; I know that if you're too slow, she makes fun of you for being too slow, but what happens if you beat her there? Anything? Is it even possible? I could not do it, but I was wondering what happens. I couldn't find anything about it on FAQs, so I'm guessing you cannot actually beat her, but I'd like to know for sure.

Give me coffee, a supercomputer, 450 able bodied monkeys, 2 ships, and eleven days and I'll find out, for sure!

You can't beat her running out of the Mystic Mountain. At least one battle is inevitable, no matter how good your doging skills. Believe me, I've tried.

There is nothing in the game script except this.

So even if you apply run through walls and stuff like that, the game doesn't acknlowedge you beat Ayla? I just love it when you pull off things and the game's coding can't recognize it. It really gives you the feeling you made things go crazy.

I was close once. But there are two stupid Kilwala's doing spinny things back and forth on a wall. It's impossible to beat her.

You can dodge the battle(I think you mean the one with the 4 Dinosaurs, 2 running up and 2 down) if you are fast enough you can run around them.

You CAN dodge that one, but Magus22 is spot-on. The bloody Kilwalas are always in the way.

You need to run along the wall as far as I remember. I just checked all my saves, but somehow the 2 Kilwalas(I know they should were) aren't. They are after the 4 Dinos and before the 4 Kilwalas right? Do they usually disapear if you've passed a certain spot in the game?

No. It's like this:

ENTER

4 Runner's - 2 going up and 2 going down (stick to the far right to AVOID this battle)

2 Kilwala's - both are spinning back and forth from the narrow walls (You CANNOT avoid this battle)

2 Runner's - they are drinking water (Simply go around them to AVOID the battle)

4 Kilwala's - they are all doing a Tituba dance from The Crucible (watch them to your hearts content if you want, but it's AVOIDABLE)

EXIT

Doesn't the Black-Omen-bat-avoid-tactic work here? K is Kilwala and 1 = u:
------<K------1
-------K>------
next:
K>------------1
--------------<K
+:
-------K>----
-------<K----1

and through
