Ultimania is more like a player's guide, so the emphasis on art is less. All the first set of character scans for Cross characters come from Ultimania (on our Compendium Official Art page for Cross). The rest of the book is divided up into a bestiary (where I scanned monsters), map guide, player's guide, element guide (I think), and some interesting information on the series, like an interview with Masato Kato. It's not much use if you don't know Japanese, but it's still a very impressive and colorful book. It's one of the three Chrono items I actually own (Clock and maps that came with CT are the otherS).
