Chrono Community Map 1.0
« on: May 12, 2006, 12:21:33 am »
After a suggestion from Ramsus and a couple hours of digging through historical links, I've assembled the Chrono Series Community Map version 1.0. It's simply a list of all Chrono sites or Chrono forums ranked according to types and level of activity, allowing for accurate classification. The tiers include comprehensive sites, game-specific sites, fan projects, fan pages, shrines, and forums. There's also a section for other language sites, and a final list of surviving Chrono forums. In the future, the community map will utilize tags and a user ranking system. If you'd like to take a trip down memory lane or simply get an idea of what's left out there on this huge internet, click here. Wow! This post makes almost a week of successive daily updates. All for a "dead" series! Vive le Chrono.

Just to tell you the RPGOne CT Retranslation isn't dying. The major problem we have is with the main programer ChrisRPG. Of coruse he is under alot of things. Gone through a long flu due to low white blood cells. He's just now getting back on his feet. Another thing, we don't know how much longer ChrisRPG will be with us. Though he is doing quite well, things could go to the worse anytime. The retranslation isn't dying. It's just not moving. We have projects that should have been finished long ago. But due to the ChrisRPG condition, these have been delayed. 1) he's been sick. 2) sometimes he can barely pay for an internet connection. 3) We don't know if or when he will move on from this world. So you can say the project is on hold, but not dying.

Another thing. the website died along with the Emuxhaven website a few months back. All the sections are now back.

A good bit of translation has been done. 25% to be excact. The total Project is at 35% But since DQ3 is late for a release date. All stuff has gone to it. so the project is on hold. The 25% includes over all translation, not just ingame text. some menus have been translated.

NIce...but if you really want a challenge, catalogue all Nirvana and X-Files sites.  That'll keep you busy.

It's just my definition of "dying" here. Since the Chrono Trigger effort hasn't been updated in over six months, it qualifies for that. It's not an audit of RPGOne as a whole or anything.
