I dunno how important this would be, but the way I see it, the sooner the better, right? I think this will eventually be a factor when people wish to have the Compendium as an affiliate or if the Compendium seeks to be with affiliated with another site. It would just further show the traffic and how well the Compendium is doing. And it's a fairly easy thing to do, right?

Yeah, we have a perl script operating for it, but I'm not sure if it keeps track of periods longer than a month.

By the way, I think we may just feature affiliates and stuff on the Links page, and maybe stick the links page in some unused corner of the site. Having a bunch of flashy ads under the left sidebar would ruin the scholarly, clean, and orderly feel. Plus, we're going to be the ultimate site anyway, so those photoshop expert guys with zero content can come to us.
