I'd like to make a lossless backup of each Chrono series OST to be kept by the Chrono Compendium's archive. It would not be available for download, since that'd be asking for copyright trouble. If you'd like to help, I need someone with legitimate OSTs (not the bootlegs). Once a volunteer is found, he or she will use Exact Audio Copy to rip the music, then probably use FLAC to encode it and send it over. Then we'll archive it. If you aren't sure if you have a bootleg, consult:

Also, this is the bootleg PSX disc, so it's barred too:

The purple cover with Magus is the proper PSX OST.

How intriguing...a sealed archive. Completeness for completeness' sake. Fascinating.

I am pretty sure I recently got a bootleg off eBay.

It is a complete collection of all this > > http://cgi.ebay.com/Chrono-Cross-Trigger-Cmplte-Soundtrack-Collection-8CD_W0QQitemZ4883434029QQcategoryZ307QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Everything is perfect, the music is fine and just everything is brand new and I got it for a very good price of only like $23.99 with shipping along time ago (46 of 2000) but I spotted a couple things that didn't "belong" on the actual item.

I don't have a problem with it since each individual CD would've been more that $50+ bought seperately.

Just a note, it is a bootleg . . . but a very good bootleg :?

We should buy the rights to the Chrono Series...
Just a thought.

Is that really possible? If so how much would it be, estimated...

Would probably be a very, very, very high price. One part for the actual value of the series and another part just for Square Enix to even accept selling it in the first place. So it's basically impossible. If it were remotely possible, I think Monolith Soft would have bought the rights to Xenogears and expanded on or remade the series, instead of making Xenosaga.
