Square Enix continues its copyright trolling in Germany
« on: June 26, 2010, 02:34:33 am »
It's one thing when at least two well-recieved fan projects are shut down seemingly because they could be a real threat (or something).

Now, according to a few folks, Square-Enix is attempting to prohibit any news media, fan media, or otherwise in the country of Germany, from publishing content relating to their products.

Again, just the two sources for now, but has anyone else heard anything about this?

Last I heard any video game above the equivalent of our E rating was illegal in Germany. When you can't even legally own a copy of Cross, I couldn't imagine making fan games would be easy.
