Uh, I just thought the artwork for the Pendant was for an uncharged Pendant...maybe when it shimmers, it shimmers red...

Also, you can't scrap a project that was never implemented in the first place. There never was a "Chrono Break project". It was just a name. A distant possibility...

Yes, it was never greenlighted, but they were making script ideas for a while. We've learned more since I made the Chrono Break Wikipedia article. Sakaguchi is the one who reported to Gamespot that Kato and the other were going for a third game. Unfortunately, nothing came of it and the Cross team went to Monolith Soft.

The pendant is discharged, but it was charged at first and it was there that it changed color. I think we can sum up all this like this:

- Raw Dreamstone when encountered in nature is red (ex: Ayla's Red Rock).
- People can manipulate Dreamstone to create items, it's still red (ex: the "Ruby" weapons in Prehistory, the Red Knife).
- People can charge it with magic energy, it changes color (ex: the Pendant and the Masamune when they were created).
- Those magically charged items can be discharged but they don't revert to the original red color (Marle's Pendant is yellow/blue, it doesn't revert to a red... rock).

Where Leah's gem fits in all this is anyone's (or nobody's) guess though...

That's supposing a lot isn't it? I thought that Dreamstone was rare by Ayla's time...and Ayla's people wouldn't have the same ability to forge Dreamstone that Melchior does (or else Gaspar could just tell you to go there to repair the Masamune, eh?)...I don't think that the Ruby items are Dreamstone items...

Maybe when it's forged, it doesn't necessarily have to be red, but when it's charged w/Lavos' energy it almost definately changes color...or maybe that's not definate either, and thus the different colors between the Masamune & the Pendant...

Well of course Ruby items are Dreamstone items, the Red Knife itself is called Ruby Knife in the inventory!

But anyway, Prehistoric people are less advanced than Zealians, Lavos energy makes Dreamstone changes color, there are different colors... I don't really know what we're arguing actually. We're saying the same things.

If I may throw something out here randomly . . . when you used the charged pendant on the door and many treasure chests, why were there blue and red aura's?
