If you could add one thing to CC.....

What would it be?  For me, it'd be Magus!  And less characters...

I agree with Magus, however, working his story into CC might've been too complicated.

I would have been happy with the end FMV of CC, containing a cinematic of Kid on her boat in the distance, and as the camera pans on someone with a cape and white hair flowing in a breeze with his arms folded on top of one another.

I don't really think it would have been too complicated. In the early parts of the game, Magus a.k.a. Magil would have been a normal character, whose identity and knowledge are hidden. He'd stay in the background storylinewise while the plot as we know it is explored. It's only near the end of the game that his presence would really affect the plot. Magil's identity could have been revealed at some point, and he would then be more in the foreground for the Chronopolis and orphanage sequences... He'd eventually be the perfect person to explain Belthasar's Project Kid and the other complicated stuff, instead of having those CT children plot-dumping the story in a totally emotionless, "Plot FAQ-like" manner.

They shouldn't have put in so many characters that really don't matter. I mean, I would have gladly taken Magus over at the very least ten of them. I mean some were very good storywise. Glenn for instance with the Einlanzers. But some weren't particularly exciting. I didn't use Skelly at all, quite frankly. And that fake French guy relaly got on my nerves. But Magus? You could have added him very easily.

Like I said in the other topic, I would add exploding hookers.

OR...

More character development would be nice, though. 8)

I agree with you.  I prefer Magus than any other character if he could be added to the game.  Moreover, CC has too many characters & less time to use them all.

Yes, I agree with the majoriy in that magus would be a great addition to Chrono Cross, plus it would make the plot slightly more interesting...

I agree. While I do agree there were a lot of characters, at least it wasn't 108.. like in Suikoden. lol
I didn't really use Skelly either, though it is interesting how you recruit him though... ^^

yeah took me forever to find that damn skully lol. Im still playing it for the first time my party is Serge,Glenn,and Guile(i pretend hes magus ^_^ )   yeah i would agree with some of u saying magus being incorporated in the story.
