Would anyone else be interested in having a debate on a certain topic each week? If we did it like a contest, each week we could have a master debater(aka the winner).

I'm thinking of events from the past, like figuring out how to bring the United States out of the Great Depression and what not. Mind you, they wouldn't all be from the past(and not all about America).

So kinda like "Should the US have dropped the second bomb on Nagasaki" Kind of thing?

Correct. But I'd like to try to stay off of American topics in honour of people from other countries.

I understand that. Not completely but I see why people would be offended if we debated about their countries. The thing about debates is, not only keeping arguements clean, but will people research before they post? Oh well...
