I have neither, but do play Chrono Trigger on an emulator. (could do that with Cross too probably)

If I ever want to play Chrono Cross I'll borrow it from my friend!  :D

I've got Chrono Trigger, but the one they released for the PSX.  Never was too keen on Chrono Cross, but I might give it a playthrough for continuity's sake.

Oh yea. I do have Chrono Trigger for PSX. Thanks for reminding me. Mad Bear.

It's so crappy it's barely memorable.

Technically I only own Chrono Cross, and a two-bit, half-scratched up used version I bought in a bargain bin at that, though I do happen to have many copies of a Chrono Trigger ROM.

Perhaps I just haven't played the original in a while.  I didn't note too many negative differences.

If you play one after another, you'll notice the load times on the PSX version are horrible.

...while the load times on the SNES version are simply non-existent!

Well, the load times arent nearly as bad as some other titles from the same time, but they are still an annoyance :?  At the same time however you need to look beyond that and see that CT is still a really good game :)

I have Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross for PSX. Trigger for SNES would make a nice collector's item, but playing on the emulator is fine enough for me.

I'm comparing the original CT for the SNES and the re-released CT for PSX.

CT for SNES load times great, CT for PSX load times horrendous.

And I know CT is a great game, why else would I be posting on this forum .
