As part of a "Rank the Characters of Chrono Cross" feature, a huge public vote is being held. Every two days, forum members can rate a character on a scale of A-D. Your rating should be based on:

• Character Design - How good is this character's visual aesthetic, profile, and charm?
• Combat Usefulness - Is this character adept or fun in combat?
• Tilt - This can be anything, from how cool the character is to your judgment of the character's plot importance.

Oh heck, sure. Perhaps enough Kid supporters can rally to cancel out the idiotic C votes (2 of which weren't justified, 1 of which was based on a completely retarded opinion). I cannot let Harle place higher than Kid.

Okay I'm sorry, but I believe that Lynx was skipped after Luccia.
I was just wandering why that was and if this means that he will not be getting his own rating poll thread, since the M is well underway by now.
I know he's not really a Playable Character and all, what with the switching of the bodies and everything, but I just really don't think that its fair for him to be excluded from the polls

If he's put in how would you rate his Combat Usefulness??? I wouldn't mind a seperate poll for Serge (as Lynx), but why put the villain in with the playable characters?

If Lynx is put in, I think it should be clearly defined that you're not voting for Serge when he's given Lynx's form.

Yeah, I guess I wasn't being specific enough about just exactly how his rating thread poll would be done.
Let's try and take care of that now.

If Lynx is put in, I think it should be clearly defined that you're not voting for Serge when he's given Lynx's form.

Since the L characters have all already been rated, I don't think that it would seem right to include Lynx (as himself) into the polls now. And yes, as you mention, it would be kind of awkward having him there thrown in with all of the Playable Characters.

No. The only way left to do it, would be to include another seperate 'Serge as Lynx' thread, that would have to come up right after his is done.

Yeah, the feature will come. But there's just a lot on the plate at the moment:

• Analysis Review
• Retranslation Patch 1.2
• File Review and Backups
• Christmas Music Thing

So it's sort of low on the pecking order.

You haven't forgotten about this, have you? It's just that I have been waiting on this FOREVER.
It would be nice if an option was given for people to vote on all the characters that they couldn't vote on. But I really don't wanna open a whole new can'o'worms about this, because of all the latest new members. Besides, once a Thread is locked, its for good right? And I don't think that polls that have met their deadline are any different.

Well, perhaps I might be able to delegate certain tasks in a thread at the Chrono Compendium discussion to help get this all in gear. Although the time it takes me to think of a good and fair way of making requests would also allow me to finish it, I'm sure.

At any rate, once Ramsus completes his education, my #1 priority is backing up the site freshly.
