I don't know...sometimes existence is tiring...If I have a soul I'm sure it'd be pissed at living forever. And anyways, we all know how vampires always turn into brooding, sad sacks after so many years pass and they see everyone they love die and they realize the futility of life...Immortality is overrated like FFVII.

Hey, about the vampire thing, just look at the case of Legacy of Kain's series, and specially the "Defiance". The legend tells the real truth about the curse vampires fought against, it wasn't bloodthirst, it was inmortality, they just couldn't bear to suicide or be killed, either by honor or fear. So death is not a tragedy, just a piece of the cycle.
