Just like you had to assemble Skelly by finding his bones scattered across El Nido, you could likewise begin a sidequest of traveling El Nido, gathering pieces of the puzzle to discover Skelly's Murder Mystery.

I think hardly anyone wears pants because they all live in a freakin tropical archipelago or w/e...>_> So, in a sense, the character designer had the right idea in mind when he made them pantsless. They just wouldn't have fit in with the locals as much.

Logic is no excuse for Zoah.

Even shorts would have been an improvement.

Late to the party, but I don't care for either of the two suggested changes (Marcy/Marle). Marcy isn't that bad (fantastic in battle, so that's what counts), and adding Marle would be like putting a giant Trigger wart on Cross' greatness. Perhaps I exaggerate, but still.

Anyway, the change I'd really like to see is some form of increased difficulty in the game. Since adding sequence breaking of some sort wouldn't be likely to happen, this is the next best thing in my eyes. Making each boss harder to the point of being ARGH would be pretty freaking awesome.

Also, the pants suggestion I can agree with (for the guys). Korcha is a moron anyway, but I'd prefer not to see a moron in bright red underwear. >_<

YES! I'd go so far as to say a complete Leveling System overhaul is necessary, really. Just don't make it a thing where enemies just happen to use status attacks more often (they were annoying enough in the regular game, I think...

Another change i'd like to see would be no more dumb*** weapons. I mean, c'mon, look at Nikki: sound waves off a guitar? no no no. and korcha-a fishing pole. wtf?? although these do go w/ the characters background, how the hell do they use these?? I'm sure they come in so handy when you're fighting man eating plants or whatever...(sarcasm) OH, and Zeff. He uses a pack of cards. ?????????? Give us some actual weapons, please!

I'll say one thing for sure at this point -- Sneff should so be renamed Zeff. It was a typo, no doubt, but chronos_cat has created an ingenious name for our buck-toothed magician.

Don't worry about the Marle/Marcy thing -- such drastic changes won't be in (I'll save Ninja Marle for an alternate-universe fangame if I'm ever lucky enough to acquire the necessary skills and resources). We need to figure out event code and pointers to all the various data on the Cross game CD before Chrono Cross: The Darkness Beyond Time can truly start, but when it happens I'll open up a *real* fan wishlist thread. Seeing as we're really still in the beginning stages of serious Cross hacking, do feel free to bring up serious requests you'd like to see in a Cross overhaul in this thread.
