Dark Waters!  I loved that show when I was a kid but it made me have a re-occuring nightmare...

So on the show the black water was 'alive' and if you fell it, you were doomed.  But in my dream it was a swamp that could only be reached by walking into this painting at my grandparent's house...  And I was able to make the evil swamp disappear by biting a certain plant.  But that plant tasted really bad, so when I bit into it I had to run to the bathroom and throw up.  And then the swamp would disappear and the dream would end.

I had that dream many many times...
