Using Attachments

Now that we've switched forums, one of the new features we have use of is attachments. Since the site is used by many fan projects and independent fan artists for sharing patches, documents, images, etc., we encourage you to use this new feature.

Here's how:

  • Go down to Additional Options... below the textarea on a post page.
  • Click the link, and it'll expand to include more options.
  • Go down to Attach and add the file you want to attach.
  • Up to three more files can be attached by clicking the (more attachments) link.

Here are some limitations to keep in mind:

  • Current total size of attachments per post is 1MB.
  • The only forums guests can view attachments in are the News and Kajar Lab forums.
  • Abusing this feature alone is enough to be banned.

If it's not risky in some way for the forum security, would it be possible to allow .Flux files as attachment?

Oops. I added .ips files the other day, but forgot about .Flux. I'll do that now...
