Is it worth keeping the Profiteer's Purse rather than disassembling it for the materials?

i always dissassemble it and choose pierre hes funny and the games a challenge when using him

Disassembled the Profiteer's Purse, thanks for the advice.

I made sure to get a Steel Sword for Pierre.

Also made a separate save so I could try out Guile. He's cool, but I'm sticking with Pierre.

Also, did I mention I accidentally stumbled upon how to run Cross on the PSP without freezing at character recruitments, Mama Komodo or status screen? I know I'm not the first, but it was funny how I sat up to 1:30 in the morning and accidentally got it to work correctly.
