My personal theory is that Schala currently represents the gnostic Sophia of Chronoverse. She represents pure, unbridled, godly wisdom (The meaning of life and shizzle) and due to that, is aware that the universe is an illusion created by the souls of humanity and able to manipulate it as such, spending eternity to help free souls from the tainted physical universe and bring them up to her level of existence so they can return to The Sea of Zurvan, or the Pleroma, the spiritual universe. (The higher dimension Schala mentioned that will be caused by the entity that inseminates the planet properly, which I think Schala has pretty much done due to the events of CC.

They could just as easily have jumped into a Pocket Dimension, couldn't they? I'm sure that there are many Pocket Dimensions that exist, and in Zeality's file on the Chronology of the Chrono Series, Magus already has the ability to (indirectly) create a Pocket Dimension. Couldn't Magus and Schala simply create/find a Pocket Dimension which is a mirror of Zeal (before the King died, presumably) and live there?

Right. So why couldn't they have the pocket dimension go from the beginning of Zeal to the time right after the King's death, at which point the dimension would end and Schala and Magus could either go back to the beginning, or prevent the King from dying, or something along those lines?

Because Pocket Dimensions don't work that way. They just seem to be empty spaces that don't follow linear time.

My apologies. I was under the impression that a Pocket Dimension was simply like a mole on the timeline that created a parallel universe for one set period, than afterwards, returned to the original timeline. Sort of like in Chrono Cross, after you rescue Schala, the two universes are merged as one.

However, Pocket Dimensions run perpendicular to the flow of time. The Black Omen in Chrono Trigger is enclosed in a Pocket Dimension.

This is what it should be:

So in any of these time periods, the pocket dimension could be accessed.

What is with this stupid Schala worship? Where is it stated in Chrono Trigger, Radical Dreamers, or Chrono Cross that she can cross dimensions? What is the basis for her omnipotence apart from the Time Devourer's ability to consume spacetime? I revile discussions that degenerate because someone is hell-bent on defending the image of a character in his or her mind. This happened in the debate over power levels. Magus could wipe the floor with Schala. He is stated twice as being capable of such in Chrono Trigger, and as a result, Magus could certifiably annihilate her.

If Magus reunited with Schala, do they specifically need to do anything? They'd probably be happy together and try to live normally and search out new enigma in the world.

I say Schala can cross dimensions because, like, you know, in the ending she's on a different planet, which is quite possibly in another dimension. Le Gasp. And the fact that clocks go all wonky when she passes them is surely symbolic of her ability to wonk up time/space. That was a heavy indication. And the fact that she's able to decipher the meaning of the life usually implies sainthood/godhood/Buddah...hood etc., so added to the fact that she can say, without any sort of reasoning to think so, that time will rejoin and Serge will have no memory of adventure and still be completely and totally right, should mean something right there.

We still don't know if that is a new dimension, or why she is looking for Serge. It's totally ambiguous. Chrono Cross suggests that being able to cross dimensions can only happen in a special case (involving the planet or crossing between a split). To cross them at will is like that episode of Doug where they dream up comic book heroes. "Well mine can eat bullets." "Well mine can shoot bullets with my eyes!" "Well mine can throw the sun at you!" "Well mine can blink you out of existence with a whim!' "Well mine can create universes!" Escalation!!
