i know some chords and i can play a handful of songs but i wouldn't consider myself a guitar player at all.

I bought a guitar and started practicing a couple of months ago. Once you're past the pain on hand, finger and wrist, it's great fun!

Eh, old name, had it when I first started going on "the internet" in 2004, not to many people have it though....

Anyways, I've been playing guitar for about 3 years or so, I've improved a bit, but not too much. I'm mostly just good at chords and finger picking, that's one reason why I don't make any rock, because I can't really solo.

I thought there were more guitar players on here...I'm surprised.
