Any Secret of Evermore fans in here?

How about Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey?

Oh Secret of Evermore! That's a great game...to bad it wasn't popular huh!

Was that a joke? SoE was just a sub-par Seiken Densetsu rip-off. It was better than Mystic Quest, also made by Square Soft (the NA Square subsidiary), but it just wasn't as good as the real deal. Seiken Densetsu III FTW!!

Dragon Quarter? (Now playing dumb) I have never heard of such a repulsive game! Hehehehehe. (THen there also that danm % thing so if you used the Dragon To much you would get Game Over! And also Nina appearince depresses me. Her personality in the other games has always felt Strong but Cheerful no matter how many unfair things may befall her, this Nina was basicly Anti-Nina...I mean she might as well have been dead from the start. Also no Dies/Bleu make Mikey angry...I also didn't like Deis/Bleu in the 4th game in which she acted like a a**, where was my fun loveing, yet lazy, heavy drinker Bleu who just love learning Magic and was a Goddess with an awesome Naga body who in the 2nd game is disguies as a normal person in the Magic School (If you talk to that girl whos actully her you can tell in the first place).

Yeah, Bleu was great. As well as Bo. They may have added a W in the 2nd, but Bo was still one of the 4 characters to show up in more than one BOF, and he was awesome. That Nina's wings are fake. Apparantly they held her down and stapeled them on. Maybe that's why she's so depressed, she has staples in her back. I'm so twisted, I'm laughing right now. Also, what was with her, this 12 year old girl, weaing a see through dress that already barely covered her and she's in love with this 18 year old guy? Was it suggesting being a petophile is a good thing?

and I'll forgive you for not getting  into 8. I get angry though because some people didn't like 8 for less reasons (The entire game is sorta a large love story) because appearently love isn't dark and cool enough for the fan who liked 7! (Sorry! I know you liked 7 just saying hehehe) I mean I had the same problem with getting lost at times. It can get irrateing if you don't know where your going.

It's alright, I'm not one of those hypocritical fans of the game. But yeah, 8 I just take forever to find any place so it'll be months before I get someplace and then I'll get stuck and stop for another 5. I'll finish it in my 90s.

I want Blue Dragon, but I don't have a 360. So I was just gonna watch the show based on the game, but that isn't on anymore. So now I'm in a pickle.
I liked Lost Odyssey(I watched my brother play it)but the flashbacks could get a little tiresome. And I was somewhat disappointed with one aspect of the game, the whole "Alright! it's a team of Grandma and Grandpa fighting with the little grandkids! let's save the world!" Sounds a little corny, even for a kid.

Aw, I actually liked SoE. Not the best game ever, but still quite wonderful in many ways. The alchemy system was mostly fun (though it did get annoying that some of the best spells in the game could only be cast once or twice, ever), the environments were generally well done and quite beautiful, and it included stupid American humor (most RPGs include enough stupid japanese humor to make it a nice change of pace). It certainly doesn't belong in a list of the best SNES rpgs or any such, but it was a fine mid-grade game.

Of course, I also actually liked Mystic Quest and while I enjoyed SDIII, I wasn't nearly as enthralled by it as SoM. So maybe my tastes are a bit out of whack.
