They're unnecessary in that they really don't answer the question...But tbh, I didn't really read the options since I knew I haven't played any of them (which also originally left me wondering why there were so many versions of it! >_<)...

And yeah, admin status, post count, fancy avy & sigs, etc. don't matter...

I spent a summer on SotN on the Playstation. I was dead excited about the updates that were being made to it for DXC. However, I felt it was somewhat lacking in the epic department. Yeah, the VA's for Richter and Maria were legions better than the PSX counterparts, but Alucard.....the hell happened?! Alucard was a total bad ass on the PSX version, and DXC's VA sounded like an emotionless robot! C'mon man! "GO BACK WHENCE YOU CAME! TROUBLE THE SOUL OF MY MOTHER NO MORE!" That was totally solid!

Plus, why they lost "Die, Monster." or "What is a man!?" in the intro stage irritated me a bit. Maria also sucked. Big disappointment. I wanted spell-slinging Maria that could slaughter everything on screen like NitM's Maria!

My vote is for the original, by far.
