*comes out of lurking spot*

Sux you have to beat the game to access the DV.

True you do have to beat the game once, but it does not mean you have to do it all over again to reach the DV.

Not really. If you feel like it's too hard to beat Lavos, just level a bit in the Geno Dome. That's all it takes. After that, beat the game and then hit up the DVs.

Problem was leveling in all the right places in each chapter, provided I can go to those places in specified chapters.

Why do you need to level up for each "Chapter"?

Feh. Red Ghaj still give out more exp per hour.

Agreed, those things are great for grinding. Too bad they can't be Charmed for Magic Capsules like they're non-red cousins... :(

Indeed, a great shame. :( One of the old dungeon screens in the Present DV is the Black Omen screen where the Ghaj appear, though. :D And guess what? Unlike in the BO, they respawn if you enter the DV again! :D Which means that you can now get infinite Magic Capsules in one playthrough without fighting in the Arena.

Are the Snowbeasts in the Antiquity DV more efficient, though? The double RG at the end of the Present Votex are nice, but it takes a while to enter/exit the screen and you need to dodge those annoying Fireballs as well...

I think it is a little quicker than fighting the RGs and you don't have to dodge anything. You can run in and out of the screen real quick. It does take a couple of seconds each time for the Snow Beasts to enter the screen, etc. However, the good thing is that if you get Crono's magic stat high enough, you can kill both of them in one turn. And you get 9,000 XP per battle I think. That's more than one whole trip down the Geno Dome belt. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to save. The best way is to run all the way back to the beginning of the DV and save, or proceed a little farther, but then, of course, you have to go all the way back through the DV. Anyway, it's not too, too bad. I mean, I think you need around 1.7 million XP to get to level **. And usually, you'll probably be around level 40-50 before going into the DVs, so that means you need about an additional 1.3 million XP. At 9,000 XP a pop, that's about 144 battles. Not too, too bad. I think it's probably the quickest way, actually. If anyone has a better way, please share.

If you talk of the two that appear in the final screen, then no. Snow Beasts give 2,200 EXP each, so it will actually take twice as long in EXP than in the Geno Dome.

Yes, you're right. I made a mistake. So, it'll take twice as long. Still, you can definitely do two battles there faster than going down the conveyor belt. And it's slightly more experience. Anyway, thanks for correcting me.
