One factor though is that people like "the pwetty pictuwes" and so some people actually go by that. Crono doesn't have a very good pic of him being used. And it's the same in EVERYTHING. I had a great pic but I accidentily saved it to JPEG and so it looked like crap and I think that's why they didn't accept it. I worked for hours on that thing too!
As for other reasons, MGS4 is admittingly a very good gae and this is the 1st contest since it came out so no surprise he's strong. Link, c'mon the bastich always makes it, and really needs to be removed along with the other winners cause otherwise it's dead obvious the winner is going to be the same people(or should i say person cough Link)every year, unless you wait many many many years.
Either that or an undeserving joke which most people won't even get(cough L-Block cough). They did it one year, which was good but considerig how much in that time one character spawned it wasn't even worth having a contest since it was obvious who would win(Mario cough). As for the other two, they are good characters but massively overrated, Sephiroth not getting full coverage until Crisis Core and yet fanboys and fangirls still raved massively(and still do)and Cloud as good a character he was, c'mon... the majority of his looks are one giant joke. And on top of that while he isn't emo, he certainly appears it at first glance(which says something about those who like him cause he looks and sounds "neat")he still has a pretty unheroic personality(strong, charismatic and/or tough)instead he's almost opposite(emotionally weak for no reason, unkind and/or soft).
And by the way, the majority of what I have just said is a joke for those of you who can't tell. But a lot of it iiiiiss true...
