Breaking the world record for longest time playing Chrono Trigger nonstop.

I have Spring Break coming up in about a month and a half, and I just had an amazing idea. I'm going to play Chrono trigger nonstop for ans long as my body will allow it.

I will not break to sleep, eat, bathe, etc. I'll be running solely on caffiene, food, and will power. I'll play through the game as many times as I can and keep a video log, updating every 5 hours or so.

Any mental and/or physical health repercussions will be prepared for in the time coming to Spring Vacation.
 
I'm shooting for at least 5 days of nonstop gameplay.

Will this be earth shattering?

The answer is yes.

Interesting.  Some questions:

• I'm assuming, since you claim to intend to not break for eating, yet will be running on food, that you will have a large stockpile sitting beside you the entire time, possibly including a whole refrigerator?
• Does "etc." include relieving yourself, and, if so, have you decided on catheter or porta-potty?
• How long do you expect this will last before your parents shut you down?
• Assuming you have extremely tolerant, strange, and generous parents who will allow you to attempt all this, you will need sub-goals to keep you going, various motivating objectives to help drive you.  What kind of other CT records might you like to try to set while performing this non-stop gameplay?

By "Preparations" mostly I do mean convincing my mother that this is a world changing thing and that I'll actually have accomplished something in the world.

Um... o_O Good for you, I suppose. I wish you luck. This will indeed be Earth-shattering. Have fun...I guess... Just be careful! D: I heard that someone played Halo 3 when it came out for, like, three days straight, and died... o_O Remember that it's a proven fact that humans can die from lack of sleep. I'm sure you're ready, though.

That's the thing. Maybe a record already exists, but hasn't been recorded.

Until it is, I agree. Sky's the limit, so avoid jumping when you're in Zeal.

Good luck. My guess is you'll make it 35 hours before you fall asleep from exhaustion. I imagine you could handle staying up all day and all night once, but two days in a row is pushing it. Especially when you start to caffeine crash and your blood sugar plummets since you aren't taking food breaks.
