So whre the h3ck did these sites go?
« on: January 22, 2009, 10:29:04 pm »
Galbadia and Khinisders are both gone.     What the heck happened?         I had to buy a new PC so I went their to grab music and now it's GONE!!!                 Any possible answers please?     I am soo confused.      :(

I am not sure if I should put this in the "WTF Links check this out" thread or not as I am not trying to advertise but want answers.

Galbadia Hotel?  They were changing servers.  Should be back up within a week.

http://gh.ffshrine.org/  Says so right there.

Update:The new server is mostly setup and we'll be transitioning to it over the next few days; GH should be back online within a week or so.

What about KH-Insider? I get music for my PSP off that site and Blue Laguna. They had better not be shutting down.

You know what Shadow? I also like Blue Laguna caue of their playlist feature if you don't want to save to your hard drive.     Another good site that's down is sound-test.org which had a built in playlist and had a decent selection of popular stuff.   Mario,Chrono,FF.etc.

I've notice when internet sites go down they go down all at once.  :picardno

What ones did you like or not like?

I normally go to Blue Laguna, The Video Game Music Archive, Galbadia Hotel, even YouTube, when I want music. KH-Insider was to get music for my PSP since it won't show links on Galbadia Hotel.

Yeah. You have to register to their spammy forum at Galabia.   The topics there are a joke.  :picardno:  and their isn't much of a forum at VGmusic.com other then a wishlist which is more then often ignored.

Google says: This site may harm your computer.

 :picardno What happened?

Yeah. You have to register to their spammy forum at Galabia.

It shows fine on my comp and the comps at my church, but not on my PSP. I know I'm not registered with their forums.

Also, VG Music is a good place for MIDIs.

Just some B.S. IIRC you can get around it.

I've gotten midis too at Vgmusic but the format of the site is like 1999AD or something.    You should take a peek at their forums and see how much of a joke you think it is.           By the way I sent you a PM yesterday.

On a side note, it looks like GH is back up and running today.  :D

I like how they have lots of soundtracks but I don't like how they don't have an update bar. :(    They act like their site wasn't even down.

That's true.

And regarding your PM, I didn't know since you didn't specify.

Thanks.  (takes a look at Pee M)    Nothing has been wired yet.    (Keeps Telegraph on)

Vgmusic.com needs to have a comment system where you can comment on the midis.   I've found some awesome remixes and other times some sound like the author just tacked them on to be "cool".    I've downloaded the FF9 victory theme but it's like it's incomplete as the major instruments aren't there.   :?

I can't contact them either and I may end up getting my head chewed off there if I mention it as it's alread in the main files?
