Woah! Was that a glitch?

I was playing through Terra Tower in Chrono Cross. My party had Serge, Kid and Starky. Later on, I put Kid in front, with Serge in the middle and Starky last. I used Kid to steal something, but she failed. She usually kicks dust, right? But then, she was in front of Serge, and she was kicking him you-know-where.  :lol: If I put this topic in the wrong place, can someone please move it for me to the appropriate place? I want to discuss funny happenings in the game (that don't really seem like glitches).

No picture? If Serge fell because of that, it would be awesome.

Hah, that's fantastic. We need to recreate this and get a good capture. This is the first time I've heard of something like this.

So what? I can make her kick Glenn or any other character.

You see, Kid kicking Serge is only because of battle positions. Since she will be in the middle with Serge at her right, he will appear on-screen during her post-Pilfer animation.

As you can see in the picture, he appears even if she does steals the item. However, only in a failed attempt will she kick and appear to kick Serge.

Anyone in the second position will seem to be kicked.

I always thought Poshul kick is harder violation than ball kick :lol:
Nice stuff, I could not imagine how many Kid kicking people, include during the silly Korcha's first sight of love to Kid, that she kick Serge in the gut or lolwut to not interfere her life <.<

Serge really has to put up with a lot of crap in this game, doesn't he? First he gets drowned, then a big cat steals his body, next he learns he's going to be the destroyer of the universe, his save points don't like him, and now his teammate is kicking him in the dreamstones for her own incompetence.

I wonder how much Kato paid him...
